🚀 What’s New in This Release
A Fresh New Admin Experience
We’ve completely refreshed the design and look of the AKIBA admin portal. It’s cleaner, faster, and more intuitive making it easier for your team to navigate and manage your operations efficiently.
Expanded Integrations with Storable Platforms
AKIBA now offers direct integration with StorEDGE, delivering the same seamless AKIBA experience you’re used to across both StorEDGE and SiteLink FMS environments.
Enhanced Security Controls
A new global company setting has been added to help prevent card testing attacks. You can now set limits on the number of payment attempts per tenant and per IP address within a 24-hour period, giving you greater protection and control.
⚙️ Facility Settings - Enhancements
1) Flexible Insurance Configuration & Updated Cart Summary
You can now suggest a minimum insurance amount while still allowing customers to opt out. Custom wording can be applied to better align with your policies and messaging.
In addition, an enhanced cart summary clearly displays the full price breakdown, including the value of any discounts applied and any recurring fees. This gives customers greater transparency and confidence before completing their rental.
2) Promote Unit Feature
Highlight specific unit types or sizes directly at the top of your unit grid. Perfect for showcasing featured deals or driving attention to priority inventory.
3) Tiered Pricing (Good / Better / Best)*
Introduce tiered pricing options when multiple price points are available for the same unit type and size. This allows you to present more value-driven choices to customers.
* Note: Enabling this feature will automatically ungroup unit sizes into individual listings.
🌐 Website Experience Improvements
1) New Compact Unit Grid Theme
Display more units on screen at once with a redesigned, space-efficient layout—helping customers browse faster and make decisions quicker.
2) Custom Discount Styling
You now have the ability to apply custom colors to discounts, giving you more control over how promotions are presented.
3) Custom Button Labels
Tailor call-to-action buttons to better match your branding and messaging.
4) Smarter User Flow
When only one unit type exists within a category, the system will now automatically advance to the next step—eliminating unnecessary clicks and improving the customer experience.
